Dark Zodiac - Libra

The Zodiac known as the Scales, this is Libra.

Libra always balances. She is Justice, the line between right and wrong and she weighs every decision with careful clarity. She is the third dual sign in the Zodiac - but she is not dual like Gemini and Pisces are; rather, this duality reigns her decision-making. For this reason, Libra has a hard time making decisions and will sometimes take a long time to come to a final conclusion, making sure to view all facets of a situation first and that her final decision is, above all, fair.

In the image, I have depicted her as bound and tied, suggesting that Balance and Fairness is often lost. As you can also see though, she has managed to get one hand free of her restraints, so that she may resume upholding the scales. That concept describes Libra perfectly, as Libra will always strive to find balance, even when it's temporarily lost. In the scales you see Water and Fire, two elements which oppose one another - suggesting a balancing of the elements. On the Sun side of the scales, the fire resides, and on the moon's side, water, since the moon controls the tides. Predominantly, the image is airy for Libra's ruling element, with silver and light blue coloring, since both colors rule Libra. Last but not least, the twisty prop in the background forms the Astrological symbol for Libra.
